Chris has been a microscopist for the last 48 years, always focusing on a strong technical contribution in all the practical application aspects of microscopy and analysis, in all its forms, within the life sciences, including clinical applications.

He holds a BSc in Medical Laboratory Science from RMIT University in Melbourne Australia, and has worked within several hospitals and Universities both in Australia and overseas, in technical and teaching roles along with management of a core university laboratory facility.

 

Chris moved to industry in the mid 1980’s.  Originally he was involved in the development and establishment of confocal microscopy instrumentation for the life sciences. 

 

He has been with PerkinElmer for the last 17 years supporting the companies various imaging platforms for the Asia Pacific region for HCS, 2D and 3D Analysis and Live Cell imaging products, utilising skills in aiding the company’s focus on drug development technologies
